Pick a virus that infects an animal or plant

• explain what the virus is composed of (DNA RNA, enzymes, protein coat ect.)

• explain what it infects - host

• describe its cycle…..lytic or lysogenic

• what are symptoms of this virus

• is it curable. 

 

Presents to class (should include graphic/visuals)  You will not be allowed to use my computer to present.

research 2 human mutations - 

1) explain where these mutations have occurred in the genome

2) Explain what can cause it (chemicals ?  is it delection of nucleotides, which chromosome, point mutations?)

3) explain the consequences of the mutation to the human

 

this needs to be completed for tuesday....needs to be at least half page write up on each.
